Increased Coverage in Shropshire

Impetus has been given the go-ahead by the DTi to expand its geographical coverage to include the whole of Shropshire.

Prior to this arrangement Impetus was unable to lend to enterprises north of Shrewsbury. However, this area of Shropshire had no dedicated CDFI so Impetus has stepped in to fill the gap.

This in line with regional and national strategies which aim to increase access to the services of CDFI's and increase support for all viable enterprises who are having difficulties accessing finance from mainstream lenders.
