BioPac Ltd

Worcester business BioPac, has developed a new type of environmentally friendly packaging plastic. Standard bottles, for example, are made of common plastics, which when melted down and shaped, give off toxic fumes into the atmosphere. Industrial plastic manufacturers are large contributors of the worlds Co2 emissions which are gradually destroying the ozone layer. BioPac manufactures a new type of plastic packaging which is made from corn starch, making it highly economical and easy to recycle via composting. After demonstrating the benefits of the new product, Impetus granted them a loan to be used for working capital and the purchasing of new stock.
